The AmericanDentalAssociation actually supports Mercury-Safe Dentistry, it just uses a different name. The ADA calls it The ADA’s ‘Dental Mercury Hygiene Recommendations’. The ADA lists a number of sources of mercury exposure at the dental office, including polishing and removing amalgam. It also recommends that all personnel involved in the handling of mercury and dental amalgam be trained in the potential hazards of mercury vapor and the necessity of observing good mercury hygiene. Although limited in scope the ADA does promote mercury safe dentistry. So while it still may vehemently defend the use of amalgam it encourages dentists to be mercury-safe. Not only does the ADA encourage dentists to be mercury-safe, you should promote the fact that you are to your patients and the public. It also shows that the ADA does not believe that the elemental mercury used in amalgams is somehow safer than elemental mercury used in other products and equipment.

Consent forms:
Certain treatments require completion of a written consent form. This is in order to explain the treatment, aftercare and any risk to you thoroughly, before any of these treatments are carried out.
Fees:
Skourasdent clinic requires fees to be settled at the appointment where treatment is provided.  Where treatment incurs a laboratory fee is due at the appointment where impressions are taken. Fees for certain treatments like Dental Implants, Veneers, Crowns and Invisalign® are taken in staged payments at each visit. We will discuss and plan a schedule of payment for you.
Skourasdent clinic do accept major credit card (Visa and Master Card).  We do accept any payments by cheque or foreign currency.
All the fees applied for any form of Dental treatment at the clinic are based on; the materials used, laboratory costs incurred (if applicable), and the clinical time spent. The fees are however, demonstrated as treatments prescribed on the treatment plan for your information.
Late cancelation or missed appointments:
Skourasdent clinic reserves the right to charge up to 150euros, in the event of a missed appointment or an appointment canceled with less than 24 hours notice.
Late for appointments:
We understand that some patients travel long distances to get to the clinic, and in some cases being late for appointments can be unavoidable.   If you are more than 10 minutes without prior notice to us, please be aware that you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.
Personal Details:
It is very important that you give a full medical history and details of any medication you take. Should these change in any way, it is very important for you to tell your Dentist. It is the patient’s responsibility to inform the clinic of any changes in either personal details and/or their medical history.
Use of Images and X-rays:

Όροι Χρήσης

Ο σχεδιασμός της θεραπείας:
Μόλις το σχέδιο θεραπείας σας έχει συμφωνηθει με τον οδοντίατρο, ο γιατρός θα παράσχει τις λεπτομέρειες του σχεδίου σας. Αν αυτό το σχέδιο αλλάζει λόγω κλινικων ευρήματων, εμείς θα σας ενημερώσουμε και θα το συζητήσουμε μαζί σας. Τα σχέδια θεραπείας είναι έγκυρα για διάστημα 30 ημερών από την ημερομηνία που εχει συνταγογραφηθεί η θεραπεία. Αν υπάρχουν σημεία στο σχέδιο θεραπείας σας που θέλετε να υποβάλετε καποιο σχετικό ερώτημα, μην διστάσετε να μας ρωτήσετε, πριν ακολοθηθουν τα πρωτοκολλα για τις σχετικές θεραπείες.

Εντυπα συγκατάθεσης:
Ορισμένες θεραπείες απαιτούν την ολοκλήρωση του γραπτου έντυπου συγκατάθεσης. Αυτό γίνεται προκειμένου να εξηγήσει τη θεραπεία, τη μετέπειτα παρακολούθηση που απαιτείται και τον κίνδυνο για επιπλοκες σε εσας σχολαστικά, πριν από οποιαδήποτε από αυτές τις θεραπείες να πραγματοποιούνται.

Αμοιβές:
Skourasdent κλινική απαιτεί την αμοιβή που πρέπει να διευθετηθεί στο ραντεβού όπου παρέχεται θεραπεία. Όπου η θεραπεία συνεπάγεται ένα εργαστήριο η αμοιβή οφείλεται στο ραντεβού όπου λαμβάνονται τα αποτυπώματα. Το κόστος πληρωμης για ορισμένες θεραπείες, όπως οδοντικά εμφυτεύματα, όψεις, στεφάνες και Invisalign® λαμβάνονται σε τμηματικές καταβολές σε κάθε επίσκεψη. Ειναι δυνατον να συζητήσουμε και να σχεδιάσουμε ένα πρόγραμμα πληρωμής για εσάς.
Skourasdent κλινική δέχονται τις κύριες πιστωτικές κάρτες (Visa και Master Card). Δεχόμαστε πληρωμές με επιταγή ή σε ξένο νόμισμα.
Όλα τα κοστη που εφαρμόζονται για κάθε μορφή Οδοντιατρικής θεραπείας στην κλινική  είναι με βάση τα υλικά που χρησιμοποιούνται, τις εργαστηριακές δαπάνες (εφόσον ισχύει), και τον κλινικό  χρόνο που δαπανάται. Τα κόστη είναι, ωστόσο, όπως αποδεικνύεται προβλεπόμενα ανάλογα με τις θεραπείες που προβλέπονται στο σχέδιο θεραπείας για την ενημέρωσή σας.

Καθυστερημένη ακύρωση ή χαμένες συναντήσεις:
Skourasdent κλινική διατηρεί το δικαίωμα να χρεώσει μέχρι και € 150, σε περίπτωση που παραλείψατε εγκυρη ενημερωση ακυρωσης/αναβολης οπου ένα ραντεβού ακυρώνεται σε λιγότερο χρονο από 24 ώρες.

Αργά για ραντεβού:
Κατανοούμε ότι ορισμένοι ασθενείς ταξιδεύετε μεγάλες αποστάσεις για να φτάσετε στην κλινική, και σε ορισμένες περιπτώσεις να αργησετε στο ραντεβού σας μπορεί να είναι αναπόφευκτο. Εάν είστε αργοπορημενοι πάνω από 10 λεπτά χωρίς προηγούμενη ειδοποίηση σε μας, παρακαλώ να γνωρίζετε ότι μπορεί να σας ζητηθεί να αναοργανωσετε το ραντεβού σας.

Προσωπικές λεπτομέρειες:
Είναι πολύ σημαντικό να δώσουμε ένα πλήρες ιατρικό ιστορικό και τις λεπτομέρειες του κάθε φάρμακου που παίρνετε. Σε περίπτωση που αυτές αλλάζουν με κάθε τρόπο, είναι πολύ σημαντικό για μας να ενημερώστε τον γιατρό σας. Είναι ευθύνη του ασθενή να ενημερώσει την κλινική για τυχόν αλλαγές είτε σε προσωπικά στοιχεία ή / και το ιατρικό ιστορικό τους.

Η χρήση των εικόνων και ακτίνες-Χ:
Skourasdent κλινική μπορεί να χρησιμοποιήσει τις εικόνες και τις ακτινογραφίες απο το χαμόγελό σας και τα δόντια μόνο, για την ενημερωση και εκπαιδευτικούς σκοπούς στην ιστοσελίδα μας, καθώς και σχετικά με την προβολή και ενημερωση του κοινου.. Το όνομά σας δεν θα δημοσιευθεί. Ωστόσο, αν ΔΕΝ θέλετε  να χρησιμοποιούν τις εικόνες σας και ακτινογραφίες με τον τρόπο αυτό, παρακαλούμε ενημερώστε μας.

Terms and Conditions

Treatment planning:
Once your treatment plan has been agreed with the Dentist, we will provide the details of your plan. If this plan changes due to clinical findings, we will inform you and discuss this with you. Treatment plans are valid for net 30 days from the date the treatment was prescribed. If there are any points on your treatment plan that you wish to query, please do not hesitate to ask us, before the appointments for actual treatments are made.
Consent forms:
Certain treatments require completion of a written consent form. This is in order to explain the treatment, aftercare and any risk to you thoroughly, before any of these treatments are carried out.
Fees:
Skourasdent clinic requires fees to be settled at the appointment where treatment is provided.  Where treatment incurs a laboratory fee is due at the appointment where impressions are taken. Fees for certain treatments like Dental Implants, Veneers, Crowns and Invisalign® are taken in staged payments at each visit. We will discuss and plan a schedule of payment for you.
Skourasdent clinic do accept major credit card (Visa and Master Card).  We do accept any payments by cheque or foreign currency.
All the fees applied for any form of Dental treatment at the clinic are based on; the materials used, laboratory costs incurred (if applicable), and the clinical time spent. The fees are however, demonstrated as treatments prescribed on the treatment plan for your information.
Late cancelation or missed appointments:
Skourasdent clinic reserves the right to charge up to 150euros, in the event of a missed appointment or an appointment canceled with less than 24 hours notice.
Late for appointments:
We understand that some patients travel long distances to get to the clinic, and in some cases being late for appointments can be unavoidable.   If you are more than 10 minutes without prior notice to us, please be aware that you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.
Personal Details:
It is very important that you give a full medical history and details of any medication you take. Should these change in any way, it is very important for you to tell your Dentist. It is the patient’s responsibility to inform the clinic of any changes in either personal details and/or their medical history.
Use of Images and X-rays:
Skourasdent clinic may use images and x-rays of your smile and teeth only, for marketing and educational purposes on our website, and on promotional and educational literature. Your name will never be published.  However, if you DO NOT wish for us to use your images and x-rays in this way, please let us know.
Use of patient contact details:
At Skourasdent clinic, the health of our patients is our highest priority, and we also like to keep our patients informed of various important changes at the clinic and of our latest special offers. We like to remind our patients of their appointments, when they are due for appointments, and other various important reminders. On this note, you may be periodically contacted by the clinic via phone, text or email.  If you DO NOT wish to be contacted by the clinic by any or all of these means, please let us know.
